We use the term news outsiders to highlight various groups not consuming editorial news today. We focus on outsiders rather than “avoiders”, as we believe there are many groups whose information needs and desires the news media has not paid sufficient attention to in the past.

We are a small team within a big group! Our work is based on research and experiments, where we try to uncover user needs and meet them by exploring emerging technology. Our team consists of community researchers, NLP specialists and a head of lab.
